Masjid Jami' Menggoro merupakan masjid peninggalan wali yang masih berdiri kokoh sampai hari ini. Masjid tersebut dibangung oleh Simbah Nyai Brintik (Putri Sunan Kalijaga) beserta putranya yakni Simbah Kyai Pahing Menggoro pada sekitar tahun 1780 M. Masjid tersebut menjadi bukti awal penyebaran Islam di Kabupaten Temanggung khususnya daerah selatan, karena masjid tersebut dijadikan pusat dakwah Islam pada masanya. Bangunan dengan gaya arsitektur Jawa Klasik dengan struktur bangunan ditopang Soko Guru yang dibuat dari kayu pohon jati berumur ratusan tahun.
Selain ruang ibadah utama, terdapat beberapa ruangan lainnya seperti serambi, aula, kamar mandi, menara, serta fasilitas lainnya yang representatif. Tepat di depan masjid terdapat beberapa batu arca berukuran sedang bercorak Hindu-Budha yang masih terawat hingga saat ini, serta pohon kecik sawo yang dahulu berjumlah dua buah. Beberapa peninggalan tersebut adalah bukti proses penyebaran Islam dan warisan religi yang masih terjaga hingga saat ini
