Di Desa Giripurno, Kabupaten Temanggung, Jawa Tengah, tradisi selapanan pemuda memiliki warna khas yang mencerminkan kehidupan masyarakat setempat. Berbeda dengan selapanan bayi, selapanan pemuda di desa ini merupakan kegiatan rutin yang diadakan setiap 35 hari sekali untuk mempererat tali persaudaraan antar pemuda desa.
Pada malam yang ditentukan, pemuda-pemudi Desa Giripurno berkumpul di balai desa atau rumah salah satu warga yang bersedia menjadi tuan rumah. Acara dimulai dengan doa bersama, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi santai membahas isu-isu terkini di desa dan rencana kegiatan pemuda ke depan.
Hidangan khas yang disajikan dalam acara ini biasanya berupa nasi tumpeng kecil dengan lauk sederhana, seperti tempe goreng, tahu bacem, dan sambal goreng teri kacang. Tak ketinggalan, teh panas dan gorengan menjadi pelengkap santapan bersama.
Salah satu agenda penting dalam selapanan pemuda Giripurno adalah arisan untuk memupuk semangat menabung. Selain itu, mereka juga sering mengadakan kegiatan positif seperti bersih-bersih lingkungan, latihan kesenian tradisional, atau perencanaan event desa.
Selapanan pemuda di Giripurno bukan hanya sekedar pertemuan rutin, tapi juga menjadi wadah untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai gotong royong dan kebersamaan. Ini juga menjadi sarana bagi para pemuda untuk berkontribusi dalam pembangunan desa dan menjaga warisan budaya lokal.
Tradisi ini telah berlangsung selama bertahun-tahun dan menjadi salah satu kebanggaan masyarakat Desa Giripurno. Melalui selapanan pemuda, semangat kebersamaan dan kepedulian terhadap desa terus terpupuk di kalangan generasi muda Giripurno.
